Summary of duties:

•  Writing original course and component material for levels Primary – C2 for print, online and Interactive Whiteboard materials.

•  Editing manuscripts in a style appropriate for the level of English (Primary to C2).

•  Editing manuscripts to ensure that they are grammatically correct and free from spelling/punctuation errors, and that they conform to house style.

•  Compiling artwork/layout briefs and liaising with design department accordingly.

•  Editing press proofs prior to passing pages to print.

•  Negotiating and liaising with authors and freelancers.

•  Supervising and checking the work of freelancers.

•  Preparing author and illustrator briefs.

•  Structuring page plans and page layout.
